Hugo Arizmendi director based on Mexico City, began as a post producer and motion graphic artist in the commercial and film industry, with projects in Mexico and USA, also worked as personal editor from Mel Gibson on Icon Studios in L.A.

Taking creativity beyond his digital skills, he began to direct projects with a clever and artistic vision on the VFX and graphic animation, blending it with a great sense of a visual aesthetic in motion picture.


Since this, he has been directing projects in all areas like Music Videos, Commercial films, Documentary, Fiction, and TV. He has worked with renown brands as HSBC, Ferrero Rocher, Adidas, Sears, Palacio de Hierro, P&G, Nike,  Sears, Audi, Riot games, Google, Movistar and Tecate.

Hugo is currently developing his first featured film in Mexico City "Plot" , after having a great success with his previous fiction awarded work “Azul” that has been selected in many international film festivals around the world.

In the past years he has been represented by the most important production companies in the country.
